limoncitos is where creativity + wellness meet.
2020 was a year of immense change and anxiety, and for me, that meant finding solace in creativity. My therapist suggested I revisit what brought comfort to my childhood self, and that led me back to making. As a child, I was always working on a craft project, and in 2020, as the world shut down and my personal life dramatically shifted, I turned to creation once again as a life raft.
What began as a personal project at my kitchen table grew into a product brand that spanned local pop-ups and retail, a national wholesale program, and eventually a collaboration with Madewell as part of their Hometown Heroes program.
In 2022, my life again shifted quickly as I began a new chapter with my son. The brand slowly shifted with it—away from physical products and toward experiences that merged my two worlds of therapy and creativity—honing in on the roots of creativity as a tool for wellness and empowerment, facilitating for others the space to engage their own creativity as a portal to well-being.
